As the principal of Mitra & Co. Design House Inc., Mitra brings a passion for home design and décor nurtured and refined by twenty-five years of dedication to enriching her clients’ home lifestyles. Driven by an entrepreneurial flair, strong work ethic, and dedication to her clients’ individual needs, her business focus has evolved from importing and retailing household merchandise and home renovation materials, to managing luxury home renovations and redesigns, using her knowledge, experience, and exclusive relationships with domestic and international producers and suppliers of fine home furnishings.

In addition to her grounding in the rich architectural and artistic culture of her Persian heritage, Mitra’s natural eye for style was refined and inspired by her early years in France studying French Art and Civilization at the Palais Universite De Strasbourg, and her focus on detail, process and function was developed by a degree in computer science. Attending annual industry events and internationally recognized designer workshops, travels to Europe, and constant attention to the latest trends and designs, ensures her clients receive the most up to date results.

Mitra’s style is inspired by blending a European elegance with a more modern aesthetic, enlivened by touches of artistic flair. She insists on meaningful spaces that are elegant yet comfortable, sophisticated yet functional.
