I’m excited to say my basement project is completed!

I have engaged and challenged Mitra & Co. Design House Inc, to transform my unfinished basement into a liveable unit that I'm excited about. I am happy to say that Mitra has surpassed all my expectations and not just created a unit, but rather an experience that is the envy of my friends and family. I explained to Mitra my desires, and she took it to another level adding her touch and ensuring I was completely satisfied.
Mitra has a keen eye for uniqueness and high-quality workmanship while ensuring top quality material are utilized and highly skilled trades are assigned to your project providing excellent end results.
Mitra ensured every square inch of space was effectively utilized which produces the best end result.
The modern styled designed kitchen with shaker cabinets and glass inserts, canopy range, and subway tiles provides a warm but stunning feeling to my kitchen. Coupled with that is the gorgeous quartz material selected for the countertop and breakfast bar, adding a nice touch to this basement.

My friends and family love this unit immensely and often comments like “This unit is so beautiful and does not even feel like a basement” are heard.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mitra Gray of Mitra & Co. Design House on furnishing and accessorizing my new home from top to bottom.

Mitra was with me every step of the way! She very quickly understood the space limitations, got a real sense of the style I was after and tirelessly helped me select fabulous furnishings with fabrics and styles that suited my taste and budget! While I know what I like, I lack a vision when it comes to design choices and accessorizing. Mitra offered me the vision and the end result is beyond my expectations! Having never undergone a major renovation before, Mitra Gray was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with all my questions and concerns. Our kitchen, living room and powder room renovation was exactly what we wanted, thanks to Mitra’s creativity and flexibility. The work was completed on time, and with as little interruption to our lives as possible for the three weeks. Each of the tradespeople was highly professional, and the fits, finishes, and colors are amazing. Mitra stayed in constant contact or was on site throughout, to ensure that there were no unexpected problems. Now that we have lived in the space for a couple of months, we are even more pleased with the work and new space. We still cannot believe that it was only three weeks on site to gut the kitchen and complete all the work. Thank you so much, Mitra, for a job well done.

I originally consulted Mitra about changing the window coverings in the living room and the dining room. Mitra and her skilled workers made our home stunningly beautiful. She stated that the renovation would take one month from the start to completion and she was true to her word. Also, she followed up with any little concerns we had after the Reno. Mitra was so thoughtful in bringing us a warm meal when we didn’t have a stove to cook on. Our family and friends were amazed by the renovation of our main floor including (living-room, family-room, kitchen, foyer and tiling of powder room). I have known Mitra for more than two years. Over these years I have enjoyed working with her. She has a special quality dealing with her clients. She is most efficient, she is able to put together your space exactly the way you have in mind, she is also able to source the best products and qualified staff to complete the finishings, i.e. electrics etc. It makes you feel proud of your home. Mitra Gray designed and oversaw the renovation of my kitchen and family room. From start to finish, Mitra was professional and efficient. Mitra met with me several times to better understand my tastes and personal needs for the renovation and the results have far exceeded my hopes. My new space is stunning. In the fall of 2019, we began working with Mitra. Initially, we had anticipated a relatively small upgrade to one of our bathrooms, but quickly realized that a full remake of our three bathrooms was in order. We started the project in the spring of 2020 and took a time out during the COVID 19 shutdown. Even with these challenges, her team was responsive and responsible, and the outcome is exactly as we had hoped.
